Yes, jetlag sucks. BIG TIME. Well worth the price of the trip to London though!
London was fabulous. I will say that leaving was scary. We flew out last Friday, when they were cancelling flights to the US for "security reasons." They offered us $800 in flight credits if we would give up our seats and take a later flight--normally that would be wonderful, except there was no guarantee that we would get another flight in the near future. There were 20+ people trying to get on our flight, and 25 trying to get on the next flight and so on.
We did get to see the "Fire Briagade" drive out onto a runway and coat it with foam, but there was no "crash landing" but it is not something you want to see when you are about to board an international flight. Or any kind of flight!
